Fardoulys Constructions was engaged for the refurbishment of the heritage-listed New Farm Powerhouse site into a modern performing arts complex, creating two new theatres, studios, dressing rooms, commercial office space and restaurants.

During this landmark project, we converted the Turbine building using the existing building elements and structure, with new modern finishes.

Challenges included the building’s heritage listing and working sensitively to preserve its historic materials and facades. It is one of our proudest achievements to have contributed to Brisbane’s cultural life on this historic project.
